Table at an Airport

This is from years ago, written at a table in the SeaTac Airport ~ thought I'd share...

Someday I'll be sitting at a table at an airport & my husband will be across from me. We can look at each other & smile, knowing God picked me for him & him for me. Maybe he'll touch my hand with his, or have his hand on the small of my back when we are walking. Maybe he'll help with my bags or offer me the seat when there's only one. Maybe he'll whisper in my ear or say something funny that only we would understand. Maybe my eyes will tear up, because there's so much love in my heart. Probably. I will probably tear up.

Maybe I'll have a slight smile on my face knowing we're going to have sex when we arrive at our destination. Maybe I'll have joy in my heart knowing it'll be blessed by God because we are married. Maybe that slight smile will actually be a smirk because I know it will be good. Probably. It will probably be a smirk.

Maybe I will let out a soft sigh, knowing we will sleep in the same bed tonight. Maybe I will be at peace knowing that it will be blessed by God since we are married. Maybe I will look forward to my husband's embrace during the night. Probably. I would probably most definitely look forward to that.

Maybe I will remember this moment. Maybe when all of this happens, and it comes to fruition, I will remember this moment. Maybe I will remember this empty chair in front of me, knowing that one day it won't be empty anymore. Probably. It will probably be hard for me to forget.

Maybe when this all happens I will praise God. Maybe I will remember what it felt like on this day & I will give Him the glory. Maybe I will remember that He is the one that brought my husband & I together. Maybe I will remember that He was with me on this day & I was never alone. Maybe I will rejoice because now it is the three of us. Probably. I will probably give God the glory, remember this day, & rejoice when it is finally the three of us.

Looking forward to the day that the chair is filled. Definitely.
