Recover Out Loud

September 12, 2026 I was able to go to the "Recover Out Loud" Annual Walk for the first time. How powerful. So many amazing local coommunity members supporting recovery from alcohol and drugs.

I'm the one wearing purple! Well, obviously most of us were wearing the same matching purple shirts. How unifying.

A big shout out and thank you to Home of New Vision (Hi Glynis Anderson! Remember us back in the early 2000s in Ann Arbor?!) and the Jackson Area Recovery Community (JARC) for hosting this annual event.

Additional thank yous to the friends, strangers, and new friends who took the time to pose for photos for this new website, that didn't even exist at the time. All in the name of recovery, and for Recover Yourself LLC.
