About Anne
Founder of Recover Yourself LLC individual services and groups
My name is Anne (with an “e”), and I have worked with others in recovery and the behavioral health field for over 35 years. Most of my work has been in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. Although when it comes to recovery itself, I’ve been blessed to work with others internationally, and have been able to share my “experience, strength and hope” internationally as well.
With “Recover Yourself LLC” I am utilizing my MSW to continue working with others both individually and in groups. There will also be some select couples’ sessions offered to those in loving, committed relationships. My passions include working with those in recovery from alcohol/drugs and working with those willing to take responsibility for their lives and work to improve them.
Brainstorming and to “tag team” a topic you have brought up works very well with my “solution-focused” style. I am able to “see the big picture” quite often. I am open to including spiritual concepts (with those that are interested) and have familiarity with the terms “Higher Power” and “God as you understand him”.
I have a long-term passion for 12 Step programs, beginning in 1990, and bring available processing of recovery concepts for those interested, attending or curious. Additional encouragement for the practices of emotional sobriety, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, walking, physical activity and other movement, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and being outside in nature daily.
Finally, I truly believe: “It’s a great day to be sober!”
